Dear all

Report on RO water was submitted some time in November 2009 & some suggestions were made for improvement. In November itself, about 50-60 residents were gathered in the mall on issue of RO water. A memorandum was prepared and given on the spot to Mr. Kalicharan to handover to Sh Anil Sharma. During a recent meeting, we all went to see the condition of storage tanks on top floor and made some suggestions to Mr.Kalicharan. No action has been taken except cleaning of RO tanks once. There are many other factors which effects the quality of RO water including the membrane filter

From the above it appears that SML do not care for all our efforts, time, suggestions & Most important the health of the residents. This is high time to deal strongly this issue or drink poor quality of RO water & face health hazard.

Kindly see the letter from SML. Please also see the attached article, especially Table 9. I think we can ask them to settle the rate between Rs 10 to 12 per unit. We cannot disagree that the efficiency is around 2.9 units per litre. Also, we had written in the minutes that this rate will be discussed in meeting fixed for 5th.

Core Committee Members

During the meeting following points discussed and agreed:-

Core committee members proposed the joint control over the maintenance activities and billing procedure to improve the maintenance services and optimization of the resources, which was accepted warmly by the management.

It is agreed that Core Committee will submit its report and suggestions to the management with in 4-5 days, by which the things can be control jointly.

Mr. Goldy Gupta submitted the average cost sheet of the one year (01.01.2009 to 31.12.2009) to Mr. Rajan Gupta to consider the cost factor of the maintenance services so that the revised rate can be finalized in the next meeting, which will be effective from 01.08.2009 as earlier decided by RWA.

Mr. Raman Thakur (Maintenance incharge) has been deputed by the management to coordinate with the core committee for the implementation of the suggestion for joint control of the maintenance services.

It is further proposed to handover the maintenance services to the third party, who can manage the entire maintenance services of the building at effective cost, which was accepted by both the parties to consider the proposals in the next meeting.

The matter relating to increase in the Power Back Up charges from Rs. 8/- per unit to Rs. 12/- per unit also discussed because the current per unit cost of power back is too high therefore it was agreed to consider the revision proposal in the next meeting.

The next meeting will be held on 05.03.2010 at 5.30 P.M. at H-1, Kaushambi.

Hi!
I have perused both attachments although the site plan indicates the location where we park our vehicle
( free parking area) but still I doubt it and to my mind , the area approved is the area before the barrier
( the start of residential area ) and the same was earlier under the commercial parking area . Further
On perusal of the letter of approval , it is apparent that the area given for commercial parking is Shopprix
Mall which ends where the residential area starts. Had it been the case as we are presuming , the contractor
would have defenitely started using the same from the date it has been approved . However the same is
required to be clarified either by meeting with the contractor tomorow or meeting with the concerend
authority at vasundhara.
I request you to have a meeting tomorrow itself on the subject for futher steps to be taken .

Dear Sir

I have already compiled the findings given by the respective teams into a letter addressed to SML and have signed it. I have handed over the letter and its enclosures to Mr Subir Chopra few days back for onward submission to the RWA executive committee for its necessary action. The RWA office bearers can now send this letter to SML and take the matter forward, on the basis of the maintenance committee's findings and strategy.

Please also note that I had already resigned from the responsibilities of the committee long time back owing to certain personal reasons. However, only for the special cooperation extended to me by Mr Subir Chopra, Mr Nand Chopra, Mr ON Srivastava, Mr Rungta, Mr RK Gupta (OC-907) and Mr Alok Jain, I undertook to get the review exercise completed in the resident's interests. It is now upto our esteemed RWA executive body members to take the matter to a fruitful conclusion.

I also request our General Secretary to kindly give necessary directions for displaying the aforesaid letter and its enclosures on all notice boards so that all residents are informed of the same.
